Opera Tulip

So named for the colour most used to paint this flower. Opera Rose is an unusual colour but with others adds to the hues of this tulip.

This small picture really does not do this large flower head justice as they stand several feet tall. I saw these at Sax Point and enjoyed their beauty and maybe someday I will paint them larger to show them off better.
